The Essence of Fire
Though few will dare to touch the fire — all adore it’s glow.
The warmth it gives — it’s shimmering light —
Reach deep within the soul.
But in spite of all it’s pleasantry, a caution dwells inside.
The flames that warm one man’s heart —
Can true another’s pride.
The essence of the fire and the embers glowing plan,
Cannot be taken lightly, nor even held in hand.
Only Nature’s tears and time could ever squelch this blaze.
But then a spark — just one spark — can rekindle it for days.
