Just Once
November 20, 2006
Just once, I think, would be so grand,
To find a love that could withstand,
The trials by fire we come to know,
As on life’s rocky path we go.
Just once to feel True Love’s embrace,
And meet this passion face to face.
To know, without a doubt — it’s real!
And finally, it’s okay to feel.
Just once, to know this warmth will stay.
And I can love you every way.
Just once — to trust. Just once — to care.
Just once to find a Love so rare.
Just once, with you. This was my dream.
And yet, just once, seems to extreme.
For the moments I have filled with you —
Are more than just one dream come true.
